Do you have to be United Methodist to live at Wesley Ridge?
No! Although Wesley Ridge is affiliated with Methodist ElderCare Services, we do not restrict our community to only United Methodist residents. A variety of denominations are represented among the residents and are welcome.
What services are currently available at Wesley Ridge?

Garden Homes - 16 independent living patio homes. Single level homes with one- or two-bedroom floor plans

Parkside Independent Living Apartments - one- and two-bedroom apartments with services including housekeeping and maintenance, emergency call systems and one meal a day.

Bishop Place - sixty-one studio and one-bedroom apartments in a residential care facility providing assisted living services

Special Care - forty studio apartments providing care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and similar dementias

Life Center Adult Day Services - a day program providing individualized plans of daytime care for seniors and younger adults with disabilities; open 6:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday
What will be included in future phases of Wesley Ridge and when?
Skilled Nursing - a skilled care facility is projected to be built once the State’s moratorium on building a nursing facility is lifted.
How are the fees structured?

Garden Home residents pay a Refundable Entrance Fee and a monthly fee, which includes all utilities (except phone and cable), housekeeping, maintenance and ten days of inpatient care a year if needed.

Bishop Place and Special Care residents pay daily rates which include all utilities, housekeeping, maintenance, three meals a day and assistance with activities of daily living.

Parkside Apartment residents pay a Refundable Entrance Fee and a monthly fee, which includes all utilities (except phone and cable), housekeeping, maintenance and ten days of inpatient care a year if needed.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! Small dogs and cats are allowed in the Garden Homes and Parkside and cats are allowed in Bishop Place.
How do I make a reservation?

Garden Home- A fully-refundable deposit of ten percent of the Entrance Fee is required to reserve a Garden Home. The deposit will be placed in escrow in the resident’s name. The approval of an application, financial statement, and a completed history and physical form, with a $200 refundable application fee, is also required. A completed application is required within 30 days of the deposit. The balance of the Entrance Fee is due at the move-in. The $200 application fee will be applied to the resident’s first month’s rent.

Bishop Place and Special Care - Residency in Bishop Place and Special Care is based on acceptance of an application which includes a $200 refundable application fee, a financial statement, a completed history and physical form and an assessment by our nursing staff.

Parkside Apartments - A fully-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve an apartment. The deposit will be placed in escrow in the resident’s name. The approval of an application, financial statement, and a completed history and physical form, with a $200 refundable application fee, is also required. A completed application is required within 30 days of the deposit. Subsequent fully-refundable deposit of 10% of the entrance fee is due within 30 days. The balance of the Entrance Fee is due at the time of move-in. The $200 application fee will be applied to the resident’s entrance fee.
What if I change my mind after signing a reservation agreement?

Garden Home - The ten percent deposit is fully-refundable if the reservation is canceled within 30 days.

Parkside Apartments - deposit is fully refundable (less $500 administration fee) at any point prior to move in.

Bishop Place and Special Care - we will hold an apartment for 2 weeks and the deposit is fully refundable at any point prior to move in.
Wesley Ridge will refund your deposit within thirty (30) days of receiving a written termination of the reservation agreement.
What happens if I deplete my assets as a Wesley Ridge resident?
Wesley Ridge has an established Charitable Care Fund. Residents who face a financial reversal, and who meet the criteria in Wesley Ridge’s Charitable Care Guidelines and apply for Fellowship Assistance have the peace of mind knowing they will never be asked to leave the Methodist ElderCare system.
