Assisted Living is designed for those who need some help with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing or taking medication. The level of support varies for each resident, with a trained, caring staff member always nearby.
Residents live in comfort and dignity in their own apartments. They are offered a full program of recreational, social, spiritual and cultural opportunities, selecting their own activities. The entire setting allows them to enjoy independence as much as possible.
Wesley Ridge's two-bedroom, one-bedroom and studio apartments are situated amidst mature oak and catalpa trees in a beautifully landscaped setting, overlooking Blacklick Metro Park's bird sanctuary. Assisted Living includes features such as wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and 24-hour emergency-call systems, in a residential setting that appeals to the most active residents. Each individual apartment has a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator and microwave.
The apartments are placed within the building to create smaller, intimate unit groups called "neighborhoods" or "clusters". This establishes a social setting that promotes friendships, while enhancing safety. Each neighborhood has activity areas which allow residents to participate in activities that compliment their skills, abilities and personalities.

Cost of Care
The service fee for Assisted Living is on a daily basis. Daily rates vary depending on the amount of care an individual may need. Please contact the Marketing Coordinator for information about current rates.
A Continuum of Care
Residents may move into Assisted Living at Wesley Ridge at the level of care most appropriate for their individual needs. Some residents who are still fairly independent may want the security of having staff available or need minimal assistance with activities of daily living. Others may need nursing services or require more time-intensive help.
Wesley Ridge is ready to help couples when one spouse requires assisted living services and the other does not. Some couples choose to move to an assisted living apartment, where the assisted living spouse has access to a broad range of supportive services. The independent living spouse will pay a lower independent living monthly fee. If one spouse should eventually need a higher level of care, the other is nearby in an apartment meeting their individual needs.
With the availability of home health care and home-delivered care services, residents may continue to stay in their apartments even when they need skilled nursing care. The in-home services provide health care at the lowest costs while allowing the residents to live in Assisted Living as long as possible.

Assisted Living offers levels of care with choices and options to fit your individual needs. The daily service fee includes most benefits, services and amenities that provide a carefree lifestyle with extra support.
The only added charges you will find are for additional services that are available upon your request. These charges are not included in the normal daily fee, but are available at minimal cost:
