Wesley Glen History

From Silver To Gold
Reverend Marvin D. Bean, Lillian Skeele, and Paul L. Wright

Wesley Glen celebrated 35 years of ministry to older adults in 2004. To culminate the celebration a banquet was held in December and a Wall of Heritage and Traditions and a Wall of Benefactors was unveiled.

The Wall of Heritage and Traditions tells the story of “abundant Christian life” that is the tradition at Wesley Glen. The areas covered in the visual history on the wall are: roots, heritage, community, worship, activity and wellness.

To thank the thousands of individuals, families, companies, foundations, churches, and organizations that have provided support to Wesley Glen Retirement Community, a wall of donors was unveiled also, listing the names of the Leadership Benefactors. Together, these donors have contributors more than $5.3 million. It is with deep appreciation and gratitude that these contributors were recognized.
