Because residents can rely on attentive staff for support, they are free to enjoy their chosen activities and live as independently as possible.
Residents feel productive and are involved in the community while receiving some assistance with bathing, dressing, taking medication or other activities of daily living.
When couples need support, Wesley Glen is ready to help married couples when one spouse requires Assisted Living services and the other does not. Some couples choose to move to an Assisted Living apartment, where the Assisted Living spouse has access to a broad range of support and services. The Independent Living spouse continues to pay the lower Independent Living monthly fee. If one spouse should eventually need to stay in the Health Center or Special Care, the other is nearby in an appropriate apartment.
Assisted Living Options:
Residents may choose between studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The daily service fee includes these services and amenities:
- 24-hour emergency-call system
- Three nutritious meals daily
- Professional nursing staff on duty 24 hours a day
- Assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing and bathing as needed
- Medication administration
- Social and recreational activities
- Satellite television
- High-speed internet hook-ups
- Fitness Center
- Use of all common areas
- Personal laundry facilities
- Weekly wellness checks by professional nursing staff
- Arts and crafts studio
- All utilities
- Chaplain support, chapel and Vesper services
- All apartment maintenance
- On-premise physician's clinic
- Weekly housekeeping
- Linens furnished and laundered
- Walk-in shower equipped with emergency pull cord and grab bars
- Storage unit
- Reserved parking space

Assisted Living offers levels of care with choices and options to fit your individual needs. The daily service fee includes most benefits, services and amenities that provide a carefree lifestyle with extra support.
The only added charges you will find are for additional services that are available upon your request. These charges are not included in the normal daily fee, but are available at minimal cost:
- Personal physician
- Medications
- Laboratory services
- Special rehabilitative treatments
- Services of other health professionals
- Personal laundry service
- Barber/beauty salon
- Convenience store
- Medical supplies
- Transportation for personal trips
- Trips/outings
