Your gift is a blessing to many!
Generosity always results in bountiful blessings. Methodist ElderCare Services and its affiliates have a deep appreciation for the blessings that result from the kind support of our friends, associates, and well-wishers.
Wesley Glen, Wesley Ridge, Wesley Hills, and Life Center provide quality housing, healthcare, and services to Central Ohio seniors. At times, residents are unable to cover the costs of the care they need. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Methodist ElderCare has an established Charitable Care Fund. Residents who face a financial reversal, and who meet the criteria set forth in the Charitable Care Guidelines have the peace of mind knowing they will never be asked to leave the Methodist ElderCare system.
Consider making your gift to Methodist ElderCare as a tribute: a way to honor a living individual, or pay tribute to the memory of a loved one.
Choose How Your Gift Will Support Our Mission
You may make an undesignated contribution to the Methodist ElderCare Fund for Charitable Care to further the organizational mission or designate your gift to a specific affiliate.
Undesignated Giving: Gifts made to Methodist ElderCare Fund for Charitable Care
Donors who support the Methodist ElderCare Fund for Charitable Care give the Board of Trustees the responsibility to utilize your gift to support the areas of greatest need. The Methodist ElderCare Board allocates The Fund for Charitable Care to finance new services and facilities, and cover the cost of care for residents who face a financial reversal and meet the criteria set forth in the Charitable Care Guidelines.
Designated Giving: Gifts made to Specific Funds
Wesley Glen, Wesley Ridge, Wesley Hills, and Life Center Adult Day Services have friends and generous donors who would prefer to make contributions directly to the affiliate of their choice.
Designated Giving allows donors to restrict contributions to an affiliate to assist with providing charitable care, program support, capital expenditures, or other needs.
Charitable Care Funds
The care and support of those who otherwise are unable to pay for the services they need may be provided through Charitable Care. Donors may contribute to a fund, the interest of which is used to provide financial assistance at the named affiliate:
- Wesley Glen Charitable Care Fund
- Wesley Ridge Charitable Care Fund
- Life Center Fund
- Wesley Hills Charitable Care Fund
Program Support
The operating expenses of the Methodist ElderCare affiliates are covered largely through the fees of the clients and residents. However, for the fees to remain at an affordable level, activities and programming are planned within a tight budget. Wesley Glen, Wesley Ridge, Wesley Hills, and Life Center rely on the support of many individuals, corporations, and foundations whose contributions augment or create new activities offered which will enhance the daily lives of our clients and residents.
- Wesley Glen Program Support Fund
- Wesley Ridge Program Support Fund
- Life Center Program Support Fund
- Wesley Hills Program Support Fund
Capital Improvements
Donors may contribute to periodic campaigns that assist with the expenses of adding, renovating, or building a new facility.
Note:
Donor-designated gifts allow contributors to name the specific affiliate as the recipient of the gift and the purpose of the gift, if not listed in a category above. Donors to ElderCare are assured their gifts will be used in a manner consistent with their intentions.
Estate Planning/Deferred Giving
Deferred giving allows donors to designate a posthumous contribution that may be larger than otherwise available during their lifetime. Our staff is available to work with donors to design plans to achieve their objectives. Estate planning may include naming one of our communities as the beneficiary in a life insurance policy, will, charitable remainder trust, or a gift of real estate and a variety of other options. Please contact the Fund Development Office at (614) 501-1452 for more information; or, email Lois Baglione at

Income Generating Gifts
Through certain donor investment vehicles you can make a contribution to Methodist ElderCare Services which will generate income during your lifetime or for a specified period of time. For example, donors who establish a Charitable Gift Annuity earn a fixed rate of return based on their age; at the end of their life the corpus is a donation to Methodist ElderCare Services. Lois Baglione, Special Projects Manager for Methodist ElderCare Services, can provide you with more information on this giving option.
We Appreciate Your Generous Support
